# 4 Prelateral Stanley smooth plane
Description:A tastefully restored type 4 Stanley plane, made from (1874-1884). This is a pre-lateral adjustment plane, with "L. Bailey's patent" stamped on the depth Adjustment knob, and stamped on the Iron cap, and the foundry #73 cast in the bed, and a low style knob with a bead at the base. Good plane that's over 130 years old.
